CDHCI
Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI)
At Incubate Home Care, we are proud to support seniors and their families across Edmonton and surrounding communities with Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) — a program designed to give clients more freedom, flexibility, and control over their home care services.
What is the CDHCI Program?
Client-Directed Home Care Invoicing (CDHCI) is a funding model provided by Alberta Health Services (AHS) that allows eligible clients to choose their home care provider. You can hire a private home care agency like Incubate Home Care, and AHS will reimburse you for the cost through invoicing.
This option gives you the freedom to choose the caregiver and schedule that best fit your lifestyle, while still benefiting from public funding.
Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify for CDHCI if you:
- Live in Alberta and require personal or medical support at home
- Have been assessed by Alberta Health Services and approved for home care
- Prefer to manage your care arrangements or have a designated family member manage them on your behalf
If you’re not sure about your eligibility, our care coordinators can help you through the process.
